Terms & Conditions – Top Car Hire RhodesWelcome to Top Car Hire (www.top-car-rental-rhodes.gr). Please read our rental terms and conditions carefully before completing your reservation. By booking a vehicle with us, you agree to the following terms:1. Driver's Age & License Requirements

  • Minimum Age: The driver must be at least 23 years old for economy vehicle categories. For larger or luxury vehicle categories, the minimum age requirement may vary.
  • Driving License: The driver must hold a valid driving license issued at least 1 year prior to the rental date.
  • International Drivers: Drivers holding a license issued outside the European Union (EU), UK, US, Canada, or Australia may be required to present a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) alongside their national license.
2.  Payment & Booking Policies
  • No Hidden Extras: The total price calculated during your booking request includes all standard taxes and specific services agreed upon. There are no hidden fees upon arrival.
  • Payment Methods: We accept cash or major credit/debit cards for payment upon delivery of the vehicle.
3. Car Delivery & Collection
  • Free Hotel Delivery: We provide free vehicle delivery and collection directly to Rhodos Horizon Resort and selected areas within Rhodes Town.
  • Airport & Harbor Deliveries: Delivery to Rhodes International Airport Diagoras (RHO) or the Rhodes Harbor is available upon request. Flight numbers must be provided accurately to ensure timely delivery in case of flight delays.
4. Insurance & Coverages
  • Third-Party Liability Insurance: Covers third-party property damage and bodily injury as required by Greek law.
  • Collision Damage Waiver (CDW): Reduces the driver's financial liability in the event of damage to the rental vehicle, subject to an excess (deductible) amount depending on the car category, provided that traffic laws were not violated.
  • Insurance Exclusions: No insurance covers damages caused by driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving on unpaved/off-road tracks, or loss/damage to the vehicle keys.
5. Fuel Policy
  • Same-to-Same: The vehicle must be returned with the same amount of fuel as it was received. No refunds are given for excess fuel left in the tank.
6. Mileage & Border Restrictions
  • Unlimited Mileage: All rentals include unlimited mileage for driving anywhere within Rhodes Island.
  • Geographical Limits: Transporting the vehicle off Rhodes Island by ferry or crossing international borders is strictly prohibited without written authorization from Top Car Hire.
7. Traffic Violations & Fines
  • The renter is fully responsible for all traffic fines, parking violations, and related legal administrative expenses incurred during the rental period
